A stray cat made its way into our garage to give birth. Poor starved thing had only one of the babies survive. We’ve decided to adopt them but until they get a clean bill of health from he vet we will let them stay in the garage. But I didn’t want the kitten motoring his way around the garage. Who knows what he could get into. Long story short, I decided to invest in a “kitty playpen”. This one looked like the best value. I’m glad I ordered it. It was one of the lowest priced for its size, but the constructilooks good. There is room for the cat bed, a litter box, and their food. I put a cheap fleece blanket down and when it gets a dirty, I can just take the blanket out, wash it, and return it to the playpen. I think baby kitty will have a safe place to grow up before we set him loose in the house. And when he is grown out of it I will have a nice item that folds flat to store for the next time I need it.

I love this portable playpen. I have 4 chihuahuas and they had more than enough room in there. I ordered a large and I took it with us vacatito the beach. The dog stayed in there the whole time without a problem. You can take off the top, since it is connected with a zipper. It comes off all the way, if you don’t want to use the top at all. It is very easy to use after the use. All in all, I do recommend this portable playpen. It worked great for me and I absolutely love it.

He just had TPLO and I didn’t want to buy the metal dog pen… Since he’ll be strong enough to to just push it, walk by sliding it the wood floor, or tip it off if he really put his energy into it. I also have a 6 month old lab mix who likes to steal and taunt him with the bully/elf/rawhide bones so open bars not a good idea. It’s stinky when you first get it but you just need to air it out and after a day or two the smell goes away. I close the top of it if I step out the room more because the little one will still try to jump inside to get his bones or drink his water so got to zip it up. So far CoOkie doesn’t mind it and he goes in and out with a problem. He’s 88lbs and got him size large.

I originally purchased this to limit my dog’s movement after surgery and it worked well with her bed and a rug. (She is a 14lb. ShihTzu) We just returned from a camping trip, and used it daily for both my dog and my daughter’s dog (12lb. ShihTzu). Both are small dog’s, but they fit comfortably (plenty of room to move around and stretch out) with a water bowl and rug inside. I really liked the sewn bottom to keep them as clean as possible. It is light weight, stores almost flat and pops out in an instant and folds up easily. I can see that a larger dog may be able to tip it over if they are very active. It met my expectations and needs perfectly.

Once my orphaned kitten grew out of her previous homes (a medium sized Amazbox and a laundry hamper), I didn’t want to have to isolate her in the bathroom but still wanted her to be protected from my other larger cats so I ordered this playpen to be her temporary apartment and it worked wonderfully. She had enough room for a cat bed, a cozy blanket pile with microwaved hot pad, and a small litter box as well as having room to investigate. Surprisingly, the material even held up to her little needle claws. The top zipper made it easy to reach in and hoist her out for a bottle feeding and the mesh windows made her feel like a part of the gang and helped the other cats get used to their new little sister. One star gets removed because it had a very strong smell for several days and I’d recommend letting it off-gas outside for a bit. Aside from that disappointment, this playpen worked very well for us and I’d recommend it for anyone needing a safe, temporary space for small kittens.

A very strong chemical odor for the first few days out of the box. Air it out outside and not a huge problem. It’s the zippers that are a pain. Very cheap. The door one will unzip itself if enough pressure is put to it. We have to zip it one way then use the second zipper to get it to reattach. The top panel is the same and it’s stating point is opposite the door so you have to lean over the whole thing to work it. The pen also will collapse onto itself. I own two different pens that are way better quality that this one.Zippers work, two doors, stays standing up

I’m using this for my new kitten who still cant quite be trusted out with the other cats overnight. It is perfect for him. I had enough room even buying the smallest versito put a small litter box, his bed, food and water bowl. In fact, my other 3 cats got so jealous of him in there that I ordered the large one for them to play in during the day. :)* Before I purchased mine I noticed a lot of people saying something about a bad smell and they had to send it back. I was cautious but ordered anyway and I’m so glad I did. The only smell mine had was like when you buy anything new it was momentarily a strong odor when I was opening the playpen. After a few minutes I got their toys and blanket into the tent I didn’t smell a thing. I would definitely recommend this as my cats are loving it. *

Perfect for my kitten when I have to leave him unattended. Very roomy, fits a cave bed, food and water dishes, a litter box area (I use puppy pads or paper towel), with plenty of room to romp and play with toys. The sides are heavy canvas and durable screen, but the floor is vinyl so it is extremely easy to wipe up messes and disinfect.

Don’t waste your money. The point of a playpen for us is to have a safe place for our puppy when we need to do something (cook dinner, get a shower) and don’t want him getting into things (peeing, chewing shoes, etc…). Unfortunately, we need to keep him away from this playpen. There is a big seam in the bottom of the playpen and my puppy has been chewing it and it now it has shred. Due to black bottom I hadn’t realized he had done this and thus I didn’t realize it was a problem until he puked up pieces of the shredded seam. He is a 6 lb puppy and really NOT a terrible chewer but this is useless after a month. Poor construction, the seam should be along the edges but likely this design because it’s cheaper to have two small pieces of fabric sewn together instead of spending money for the single larger piece of fabric. Now I need suggestions for a better one!!

This was easy to set up and easy to tear down and pack up. Folds up very compactly. We initially ordered this for our pet so we could take her with us a trip. She would have to be in a hotel room for a few times without us, and she does not like staying in a kennel. She is a small dog (10 lbs) that has gotten older and has many physical issues. It worked so well the trip that we are now using it at home. When we are gone from the house(at work), she needs to be confined to an area just for her. This gives plenty of room for her to have a place for food/water and a bed, and room to walk around safely.

This product is okay. It was a little small for transporting two cats in the car with their litter box. The sides tend to not keep their structure and collapse in leaving even less space for the animals. There should also be a way to “lock” the zippers. Cats figured out how to open it so we used a twist tie. My kittens would also jump the top of it, which would cause it to collapse a bit. Maybe if your pets are calmer and just want to sit outside in your backyard, it would work better.

I purchased this so I could have a safe place for my bearded dragto chill outside. He’s about 18″ long and has space to walk around in the pen. The mesh windows offer a lot of ventilatiand the zipper roof means I don’t have to worry about a bird snatching him. While the topic of the roof, the half mesh/fabric design offers a bit of extra shade too. This playpen 100% met my needs. It’s easy to stow when not in use. Please note, I purchased this item for my lizard to sun in. I absolutely do not recommend this to be a solutito leaving a mamal outside, unattended, for any length of time. That’s not the purpose of this product and it won’t offer good protectiin the elements if you’re wanting to use it in place of a kennel. Also, because it’s collapsible, if it’s pushed from the outside with minimal force it will fold in itself. I learned that when my 90 lb. dog wanted to get a closer look at the dragon. (Everyone is fine)

Was really looking forward to receiving this pen and even paid extra to get it sooner. Everything previous posters wrote about the smell is 100% TRUE. I couldn’t even keep it in the house due to the overwhelming chemical smell. I thought the smell would dissipate after a few hours, but it did not. We could TASTE it. That’s how strong the smell was. Tried wiping it down with lysol wipes, but that made no difference. We planned to use this pen to separate our dogs, as the little one just had surgery. Could not happen. Was afraid she would come out of the pen with six heads if she lived through the experience. No good. Not sure why all reviewers did not have this experience, but I am very happy for those of you who are using it successfully. It is a really great size and has good construction. Popped up instantly. Just uninhabitable by life forms.

This is an amazing product! My family provides foster care for cats and kittens from the local shelter. These animals are often feral, sick, or very young, and do not thrive in the busy shelter rooms. Previously, we used a heavy metal cage to contain our furry feline foster friends. When I heard about playpens for kittens, I had to try one! This playpen allows the cats to have more space, it is easier to clean, lighter, easier to move, and less expensive than the large “dog crate” that we had. I appreciate the way that this whole thing collapses down to a flat panel that can be stored until needed. That is a huge benefit! It sets up in literally one second. I am very happy with this purchase. There are a few things that I would like to see in a future model, which is why I have not given this item a full five stars. This one has a “door” that zips open and shut- you can see it is the white panel in the product photo. The roof also can unzip, which is a cool feature, but I believe that cats generally prefer for the roof to remain fixed. They have an instinct to hide under things when given freedom to run about, and frequently go under beds or tables. Opening the roof is probably a little stressful for them. My suggestiis to have a second door the opposite side of the pen, to allow easy access from two sides. I would also love to see this in a slightly heavier fabric, something more like what many backpacks are made of, rather than very thin nylon. I know this is designed for kittens, but right now I have a new mama cat in it with her week old kittens. She is sweet tempered, but could probably claw or bite through the sides if she was determined to get out. Our last foster mama was completely feral and probably would have decimated this playpen.

I almost give this product 2 stars for being made well in some respects. If instance the zippers are holding up nicely and well placed. However, this thing has been knocked over about 100x by now. This has posed a danger to the puppies and has made my life harder then it needed to be! Also, the puppies have figure out they can eat the bottom out of it! At this point, I have it wedged between walls and furniture to keep it upright and that barley works! Wish I chose something else. Maybe if I had a small breed and had it tethered to the ground it may work out.

Great size, I got a size L for 2 pit mix foster puppies and it worked grea, they wanted to go in there, it made the feel safe because it’s covered.Recently the zipper broke, I have had problems with the zipper since I bought it, but just recently it broke.I have tried to get the customer service this, and have to revived a reply if i could get the top replaced. If your dog does not like to be in the playpen I could see it causing some problems, it is very easy for them to flip the pen and they have done it a couple of time, I would not recommend leaving the top of, because again, it’s very easy for them to escape. Also I’m not sure how small a size S is, I was expecting the playpen to be bigger, and I was surprised at the size. If you are planning leaving your dog in there for a couple of hours per day invest in the size L.The product will depend dog to dog, if your dog likes it will work great, if your dog dislikes it will be a disaster. It worked out good for me, I was really upsetting that the Zipper broke so easily though.

We bought this for a new puppy. I didn’t want him crated all the time or if I needed to do something where I couldn’t keep an eye him. This playpen is perfect. Great quality, he can see out, big enough for toys and his cuddle pad, he can move around easily and I can put him where i can see him. He takes his naps in it and has adjusted well. Obviously its not for long amounts of time or meant to replace his crate but its perfect for a new puppy that needs to be out of harms way. Perfect for travel too.Easy to fold away. We did air outside for awhile because the smell of being packaged but it went away. Perfect and essential for a puppy!!!

Our puppy is about 9 wks old and 4lbs. We have the medium size. Perfect. We use in in and outdoors. She has had a few accidents and it seems quite liquid resistent so it was easy to clean.Having a puppy means EVERYTHING gets chew tested. Our party puppy/part raptor is pulling at and tearing the seams of the panels! However, as it wasn’t listed as titanium reinforced, the only thing she can’t chew through at this time, I am lenient quality because it can’t be flexible AND baby tooth proof. It folds easily. Unfolds quickly.

The size small is perfect for us! Our cat goes with us in our 28 ft camper. This will allow us to have her outside with us. I did put it outside our screened porch when it came since it has that new product chemical sort of smell. She walked right in to check it out. Plenty big enough for 11 lb cat to lounge in and walk around. It has tabs to spike it down. So easy to open and fold away, weighs very little. Pewrfect!!!Just a note as well…this isn’t for rambunctious puppies, etc. And, I wouldn’t leave any animal unattended in it. It is light weight but well made.

The product itself is very good, seems well made and is very large. However, the awful chemical plastic smell coming off of it is unbelievable! I have had it open and airing out (including outside for a day) for a couple of weeks and it is smelling up my entire basement!! It also hasn’t improved at all during that time either. I certainly will not be putting our kitten in there like we had planned. I feel like I have wasted money an unusable product. I believe the smell is from the black mesh plastic screens. I would not buy it if you are concerned about putting a pet in something with such a strong chemical smell or don’t want your home smelling terrible.

Not bad for the price, but ESK is a much more solid build and material. I first purchased two ESK XS pens and love them. However, I needed something a little smaller for the RV and found this one for about $15 less… It will do the job, but much lighter weight and flimsier material quality. I’m attaching a picture so you can see the size difference. Both accommodate my Maltese and Chihuahua. The ESK has a LOT of room, the floor detaches and it is heavier. Parkland is more compact, perfect for traveling and ease of collapse.Adding an update after a couple of days…1) Lowering to two stars2) Horrible chemical smell. I’ve left outside two days, and it still reeks.3) Zipper top keeps coming open, so I have to run it back and forth when that happens. Cheap zipper.4) Floor is very thin, don’t think it will last long.5) Same floor material used to hold in wire shape. That won’t last long either.6) Wire frame is lightweight, so this collapses easily.6) If they had spent a little more money using the stronger material floor and a better zipper, this would be a good product.

This is PERFECT! I can pop it up at work and my kitten can play there. I bring it to my beach so my kitten can keep us company when she isn’t her harness. I fostered kittens a while back and it was perfect for keeping them contained while they were too young to have full run of the living room.Ferrets, cats, puppies. This isn’t the largest foldable playpen you can find, but it is impressively sturdy. The floor is also attached (I had a larger one with a detachable floor, and my cats could detach it and make a break for it from underneath) so it is virtually escape proof. Even with energetic kittens trying their best to claw through the mesh, it held up, it is STRONG.Then it folds down to just the size of one of the panels (maybe 1×1.5 feet?). It’s so light and easy to carry away. I am very impressed with this. I use it with a portable litter box which fits into the portability and the size very nicely.

I bought this playpen for my Pomeranian puppy to stay in when I’m not home and it is a perfect little “room” for her. Can’t really leave her unattended or with my cats and dogs until she grows a bit more either so I thought a crate was my only option. Glad I came across this pen because it is much more comfy and spacious than a crate, fits all her amenities (food, toys, bed) and folds up quickly and easily for storage.Tip: If you expect to be gone long, line the floor of the pen with pee-pads in case your puppy has an accident.

I didn’t expect such a good product for the price. I have two adult cats that wake me up throughout the night and morning by running over my bed, wakes my sup, too. So, I put them both in this at night and when we’re doing something like painting and we don’t want them to get into it. The door has Velcro to roll it up to keep it open. The top comes completely off if you want it to and it’s really easy to zip it back on. The assembly and deassmble is so easy, the materials are quality and very sturdy. I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it. The small size is actually rather large.

I recently fostered three little kittens that were so small they required bottle feeding. They were growing so quickly that I needed a way to “corral” them… this was the ideal solution! I really appreciate the two different openings and the screens all the way around. I was able to check the sweet little kittens without disturbing them (kittens that small also require constant monitoring). Anyway, I would definitely recommend this to anyone with small pets that need to be kept in a small space. I wish I would have known about this years ago – it’s truly perfect for when you spay/neuter a pet that you don’t want jumping and running all over the place!

I purchased the medium size as a “kitten tent” for 3 foster kittens, starting at 4 weeks old. They are now 9 weeks. They still have plenty of room. I let them out regularly but they snuggle up in their kitten tent every night. I also purchased the Petmate Booda Dome Litter Box to go inside so they have a cover space to do their business. It fits perfectly with enough room for bedding, water dish, food bowl, and a little extra wrestling space as well. It is tough enough to keep kitten claws from tearing the fabric and the mesh has shown no signs of wear either even though the little sillies like to hang from the top at times. The fully opening lid makes clean up easy and the flooring fabric is tough and easy to clean. I am glad I purchased this product.

I have purchased the med and large size. We have a tiny 4 lb puppy. Until he has had all of his shots he can not be outside the ground. These have been a life saver. The med one I have used inside for potty training and quick trips.I can even put the med one inside the large one giving him his potty area and still enough room for him to play with his toys and comfort blanket. These are great to for vacations when you need containment. My 1st large playpen did have a zipper defect, I contacted the company and they were extremely helpful.I recommend these playpens for small dogs/animals. I found the overall quality to be outstanding. I am not sure what the screen is made of but it is unbelievably strong. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Ordered the small size. Came time with intact packaging. Using the product as a holding house for my kitten. The size & idea is great. Door opening is cool & very easy to pop open…. but also to close!!!! This item does not stay in its octagonal position!!! It would not stay open & was rather annoying at first. Push one side out and the other caves in! Grr. Solution: hard base. I used cardboard to hold the sides opens but a basic job so it’s really just a square but at least not caving in my kitten every so often. Manufacturer should add this to the item. Debating whether or not to return at this time…….

This is really nice. I am using this for two cats, it’s roomy enough that my daughter who is 20 climbs inside with them and she still has room. It’s nice that you have two options for putting them inside, it has a door the side and the entire top zips off as well. We have to keep it zipped all the way. This will come in handy now that the weather has warmed up. We put them inside with a few toys to play with. Very happy with this purchase. I love the fact that when I am done, I can collapse it and it’s flat for storage.

I ordered the small size and it is perfect for our 6lb Morkie-poo. We use it to feed her so our larger dog won’t eat her food and as a safe place for her to be if we are leaving the house. She often likes to go in it and play by herself! There is enough room for her bowl, toys and a blanket. We have ordered 2. The puppy chewed the zipper of the door the first one so it won’t zip but we now use that for her to sleep in our bedroom. We like it so much we ordered a second one and have taught her not to chew the zipper!

We bought this our vet’s recommendatias a way to allow our old cat to safely interact with our new cat while they’re getting to know one another (new cat goes inside with some distracting toys, old cat can come up and see/sniff her with a barrier). It works well for that purpose, and has even become a favorite play spot for our new cat, so we’ve left it out with the door open for both to use it when they want. Over time, it has had some trouble keeping it’s shape, and we have to pop it back out every few days, but overall it’s a quality product.

We got this for our elderly-yet-still-spunky, 13 year old toy poodle, in advance of a camping trip. He is black and gets very hot in the sun, and tends to speed off when he sees or hears some kind of creature that he has no business confronting (i.e. moose, porcupines, etc). This “playpen” has a zip off top, which allows you to customize it depending your need. The screened walls provide plenty of air flow and the door zips open/shut and has a velcro attachment to help keep the “door” panel in place when it’s open. It is compact and flat when folded, but it is challenging to fold it properly, in the right order, to get it back to its initial, new flattened state without bits of the floor sticking out of the end. As far as small dogs go, this is a sturdy enough product and I’m not worried about it collapsing him or that he could be able to tear it apart and escape (may be a different story for larger dogs). Our 10 pound poodle is very comfortable in the “small” and has plenty of extra room around him all sides, so not a tight squeeze, by any means (although, at night time, we put a soft blanket the thin plastic floor which is similar to floor in a tent for people, and his bed top of it because our little rescue dog likes to sleep in small, tight spaces). We did put a cooling pad the floor of it during the day when it’s hot, just because we weren’t sure if it would be cool enough inside in the sun/heat of southern Utah. One quick thing: the bed arrived with a terrible, strong, chemical smell, so it’s a good idea to open it right away, expand fully and set outside for a few days to air out…..three days and a spray of Febreeze later, and the smell was gone. Definitely recommend.

I purchased this for my cat who had surgery and wasn’t allowed to jump for weeks. Couldn’t be happier. Looks nice in our living room and it’s nice to be able to take it outside. My cat has scratched the sides and still no holes. Life savers that I didn’t even think of – our cat had “accidents” but it was super easy to clean with no stains or odor left. Also, the entire top unzips making it easy to clean, change litter box, and care for her without her trying to escape. Big enough for a litter box, a catbed, and toys. We would remove the litter box and my 8 year old would lay in it with her. She is healed but the enclosure is still in the living room and will remain there as her “bedroom”.

I purchased this since our winter in NJ has been brutally long and cold and I need a larger home to place my six baby chickens until I could get them outside into their coop! I cut a large piece of cardboard to protect the bottom material a little more then lined it with newspaper. This enclosure is no housing six, seven week old chickens with plenty of room and security from my cats! I would absolutely recommend this product. It is a nice quality and had so many different possible uses!

***EDIT*** We solved the problem of it collapsing! We put a hula hoop in it! No more collapsing! Wahoo!I’d love to give this product 5 stars. Our cat loves it. Wait, take that back. He hated it when we first got, but he was a kitten and kittens are completely insane, so I wouldn’t count his opiniat that time as valuable. Now that he’s older (he’s still only 6 months old). He loves it. He thinks he’s king of the castle in it. We put a few toys in it and don’t bother to zip up the door. The only time we zip the door is when we cannot get his furry rear end into his carrier to go to my parents’ house. They live three doors down. So we get him to go play in his playpen, zip it up, and carry that whole thing over. Yes, quite the sight, but he’s safe that way. So why four stars? The sides collapse. All. The. Time. Sometimes Viktor (the cat) makes them all collapse him and then he meows pathetically until his human comes to rescue him and then he attacks (we’re such suckers). But most of the time the sides just collapse because…well, it takes nothing to make them fall. So while I like this playpen, some sort of way of keeping it upright would be lovely.

Loved this playpen. Lined bottom protected our floors. Puppies need constant supervision. We used this for when we had to be doing something else like taking care of our own bathroom needs lol, fixing meals, taking care of my disabled daughter, etc. A real sanity aaver.

I bought this for my Chi to recover in after his IVDD surgery. My dog uses a litter box and the pen was big enough for that, his two bowls and a sm/md size dog bed and he had a little room to go around to each. It was perfect for us. Later, we used it a trip for our two Chihuahuas to stay in while we were visiting family. It’s waterproof, made well, a good size and folds up easily. We highly recommend this portable playpen. We had a few other ones before and this is by far the best pen we have ever used.

I purchased this pen in December after my dog had 5 puppies. I wanted a way to corral them at night. This worked great! The top zips off and I could put the puppies in and Mama dog could jump out as needed. Now, I’m down to 2 puppies from the original 5 and the pen is about 5 months old and is going to have to be replaced. There is a small tear in the floor/wall vinyl and it wants to fold up all the time. I gave it 5 stars because it’s been thru hell. The 2 puppies sleep in it every night and like to wrestle when they aren’t sleepy. They have turned it completely over twice. they have gnawed, pushed and drug this pen around. So, yeah, I think it’s worth what I paid for it.

This is my first time using a playpen for a puppy it was recommended by the breeder and I wish the manufacturer would have thought of one thing when designing this product. Put a one piece bottom in these things, puppies like to chew so the minute mine found that big seam running down the middle he was attracted to the loose threads first and no matter how many times you redirect a puppy they go right back and now he just goes right through the bottom in the new exit he created so if you are in the market for one of these do your homework and purchase one that has a solid one piece bottom that is durable cause this one is not it only lasted one week.

Really awesome product and seller. We bought this playpen for our Shih-Tzu. If you have a Shih-Tzu, you know very well how “under foot” they are – always right at your feet and sometimes you just want to get something done and not have to deal with the dog. This playpen is perfect for just that! We put a blanket in it and she’s perfectly content to curl up and wait until we let her out. I was skeptical that it would ever fold back up the way it unfolds – but every time it’s super easy to fold in just seconds.Really cool product – great seller with prompt shipping and good communications. Full 5 stars all the way

This item is great! It’s very roomy and is a great temporary “holding” place to keep your cat when visiting (like when you have to go out for a short time and Grandma is afraid your cat will shred her curtains. She can take a nap while you’re gone and all is well…the cat, not the grandma.) Also makes a great sleeping area with a cozy blanket inside (again, when visiting). It’s very sturdy and stands up to cat scratching. (We have had to use it as a brief “time out” place when our newer kitten was particularly aggressive with us or climbing curtains, etc). That said, we normally just leave it open and our cat goes in it and out of it her own. We also appreciate the easy fold up and incorporated elastic band that keeps it together.

I have two of these for my Morkie, one for home and one for my dog-friendly office. I bought them both at the same time, and was crossing my fingers that they would work. They’ve been great. Puppy can still see out of it through the durable mesh, but there is also privacy and some light blocking for when she naps. The roll-up velcro “door” is very handy and it’s nice that the top zips off if you want. Bonus is that the bottom fabric dries very quickly in case of spills/accidents. My puppy’s bed, plus water dish, plus toys all fit. Usually she sleeps in it, so she doesn’t need a tof room for walking around, so the smallest size is working for us. Recommended purchase.

I purchased this for maltipoo puppy. I don’t like the idea of using crates to sleep at night cause it makes me feel like i’m putting my pup in jail :/ I would have given this 5 stars but I can’t because the bottom it’s waterproof as I wanted. This matters to me because I keep the play pen next to my bed and sometimes my pup knocks the bowl of water over and the water seeps through the bottom to the carpet. For people wanting to use this tile or outside this won’t be of concern. As far as the overall quality goes it’s good, strong material, a teething maltipoo can’t tear it up. Easy to wash and dries quick. I clean it in the backyard with my hose and some laundry detergent.

I bought this January 29th, so I’ve had it for significantly less than 2 weeks at this point. I really liked the concept it, because my dog hates being crated. This, I thought, would be the solutibecause it would give her more space to stretch her legs, I could put a potty patch in it if we needed to be gone for a long time, and it’s super easy to fold up and get out of the way. Unfortunately, I was proved spectacularly wrong in my optimism today.I have a 7.5 lbs Chihuahua. Not exactly a great brute of a dog. Tuesday (2 days ago) she figured out how to open the zipper the door.”No sweat,” I thought, “I’ll just zip it so that the zipper are in the bottom middle and she won’t be able to claw them.”Wednesday, she figured that one out.”Drat!” thought I, “I suppose I’ll have to somehow tie the zippers together.”So, this morning, when I zipped her in and left the house I used a cable key chain I had laying around to fasten this zippers together. This, it seems, was my undoing. Between when I left the house 4.5-5 hours ago and when my wife arrived home from her conference 20 minutes ago, my 7.5 lbs Chihuahua had managed to claw her way through the mesh screen of the door, rendering this product useless for me. I purchased the 48″x48” versibecause I thought, in my foolishness, that if something was large enough for and well reviewed enough by people who own significantly larger dogs than mine that I would be safe. Alas, I was mistaken.I am including a photo of the door

I have mixed reviews this purchase. This is easy to fold, put up and take back out. However, my 8 month dachshund learned within 15 minutes how to jump out of it. All I did was run a 15 min errand, when I came back, she was out of it. A few days later, I put her back in it and zipped the top on. Went to run an errand. When I came back home, it was rolled to the front of my bedroom door. The doggy pen was upside down and she pooped in it!!!! I had a major mess to clean up! I decided to just keep her dog bed and toys in it. It was her special dog cave. The dog pen is very roomy, but I couldn’t use it to keep her in it while running errands.

This playpen arrived today. Nice product seems to be well made. But frankly the chemical/plastic smell is so overwhelming I will be tossing it out once I purchase a replacement. I hope this doesn’t make my puppy sick. Really where was this thing manufactured? This needs to be corrected immediately. So those of you that are considering purchasing this item contact the manufacturer to see if they are correcting this issue. Next time I’ll purchase a metal crate, lesslearned.

My husband and I bought the small one for our 4 month old kitten to keep her activity low after her being spayed. Then we bought the large one a month later after our kitten had a case of diarrhea for a week. We ended up putting them together and using the small one for her litter box. They are pretty sturdy and our cat loves them. Although the top must be or she can easily jump out. I would definitely recommend this enclosure.

I bought this playpen with the hopes that it would be able to contain my Prairie Dog so he could have a bit more room to run around in whenever I need to leave the house but it’s too cold to leave him outside. Prairie Dogs are difficult to cage due to their knack for chewing anything and everything – my little boy has chewed his way out of plastic kennels and thin wire cages! Thick wire cages work for them but usually cages with thick wires usually have big gaps between the wires, which lets the Prairie Dog chew the bars, which can lead to serious and fatal dental issues. That being said, I didn’t expect much from this, but I hoped that maybe since it was completely covered(no holes) he wouldn’t think he could escape. Well, he decided to just make his own holes instead by chewing the weaker areas. So I wouldn’t recommend this product for those with Prairie Dogs or rabbits, or anything with a tendency to chew, but the material is study and well made for it’s price and can be used for many different things. I personally plan to use this product in my job of rehabbing wildlife, since it seems like it would make a good little play pen for baby squirrels, ducklings, possums, etc.

This is great for my kitten to stay in until he’s big enough to be out in the house all the time. It has room for a cat bed, food and water dishes, and a small litter box. You do have clean it out regularly because he’ll kick litter everywhere and it gets in his food and water dishes. And his bed gets wet if he moves it near the water dish. But other than that it’s really nice for him for sleep in. And it’s good because the other pets can see him and get used to him. We unzip the top to clean it out and pick him up or we unzip the front and he walks out his own. Be careful not to put the zippers at the bottom because he can unzip them and come out when it’s not safe.

This is actually a wonderful product. I just received a defective one. Upopening it, I noticed the zipper was a bit flimsy at the top. It was shaky, kept getting caught in the tracks. Also, my puppies (2) were able to open the zipper and climb out their own in the middle of the night due to such a flimsy zipper. It was definitely scary because they could’ve easily gotten into something dangerous and hurt themselves. Final straw for me was when the zipper popped off after I tried opening it. Thank God for the additional entryway or else I would’ve had to cut my babies out of it! I’m so disappointed because I LOVED this product, just wish I would’ve gotten one with a secure zipper!

We bought it to house our Ferret for some much needed play time while NOT causing trouble especially when cleaning everything else. Unfortunately, our dog thought it a nice snack and pretty much ate the top. I cannot imagine this working well for a dog with a lot of energy or who likes to chew or does not like being cooped up. I wouldn’t call it a playpen for anything much larger than a ferret, but it will confine them and allow a small dog to walk around. Too short for many dogs, but it worked for our needs.

This is a great item.y older dog is blind, or almost. I was getting the van ready for a camping trip and she was in there with me, just laying down. I turned my back for 1 second and she walked out of the van. Scared me really badly as she hurt foot. I realized I needed something to keep her contained occasionally during our camping trip. This is perfect! It folds for easy storage and when in use keeps her safe in those moments I need to focus in another direction.

I got this so my 6 month old kitten could enjoy the great outdoors with the dog and me. We like to sit out the patio in the mornings and evenings (w/our coffee & wine) and little Scout actually looks forward to chillin’ in his “kitty camper”. When it’s time to go back inside, I have to drag him out – he’d stay there for hours if I let him. He’s got a couple toys, a bed, and a blanket in there and he couldn’t be happier. It looks like it’d be easy to fold up for traveling, but I just leave it open all the time. So glad I bought this!

I teach (spec ed pre k) and my dachshund is a certified therapy dog that comes to work with me. I needed a way to give her a quiet place to relax since I have a more active group this year. This has been perfect as it gives the children a visual boundary and she can come and go as she pleases. I have not needed to use the top but it’s nice option. The pen folds flat so it stores under my desk when not in use. I know she feels secure in there as she falls asleep quite soundly in the afternoon.

I wanted to love this product, but I’m highly disappointed. I’m not sure if the one that I was sent had a defect or not, but it ripped the stitching line. My dog is 11 pounds and I thought this would be the perfect alternative to a crate, but obviously when you open it and get it out of the box with a rip it’s not a good idea to leave your dog in it. I wanted to love this play pen and did a lot of research before purchasing this one. Sadly, I will be returning it and finding an alternative.

This is a great playpen for our 6 month old Havenese. We replaced a previously purchased brand with this one. The mesh the previously purchased brand was not sturdy and the puppy’s teeth and nails easily tore through the mesh and he was able to escape. With this beautiful and well designed playpen our sweet and rambunctious little puppy is safe and unable to chew or nail his way out.Our little puppy loves it so much that he puts himself to bed in this playpen or uses it as a safe space when we have company as he is very shy. He is able to easily enter this by himself even if we have not rolled the door up. The velcro the top of the door makes it easy to roll the entrance door up for easy daytime access when we are home and he just wants to go in and have some quiet time. I also LOVE the top zippered section. If I want to put something in for the puppy or take something out without allowing the puppy to easily escape this is a great option. There is so much visibility for the puppy too, yet when he lays down he can feel like he is out-of-sight since the fabric at the bottom is solid. I’ve also used this as a place for the puppy to go when we are eating as he was beginning to beg at the table or ask to go in and out continuously. He just sits and watches us but knows he is restricted for pestering us. I would definitely buy this again and I would even gift this to a new pet owner. I can’t say enough positive about this brand.

We purchased this for our new puppy, and I was somewhat hesitant since I hadn’t seen it myself. But we are amazed at how well made it is. It provides much more room than her crate (and we have a big one). It’s perfect for traveling, too. The playpen is very easy to fold up and move. Don’t want your pup to explore a hotel room or a relative’s home? Bring the playpen along. The price was great, too! Now that our puppy is a little older, she uses the playpen as a quiet space to hide toys or rest for a while. Even our cat uses it occasionally…provided the puppy isn’t around. We’d recommend this to anyone with a small dog or puppy

Received this playpen this week. Next week I go pick up my NEW PUPPY. I got this so I could bring my puppy to work but not worry about her getting in to everything and for easier clean up if there is an accident. The play pen is easy to fold up for storage, good material (not sure how “water proof” in case the puppy goes #1, only time will tell). I like that you can put a top in case your dog is like tigger. I do have a few pics of my older dog in here. Now she is 15″ at the shoulder and a sheltie not a collie. She still had plenty of room in here. I would say that this is great if you have a dog or puppy that you need contained while you are in the room or gone for a few hours. My mom however has a poodle the would break the zipper or rip through the fabric given enough time. So know what kind of animal you put in here. Great item, but not a fit for every pet. The oh so clever, can’t be contained miniature poodle might be better with a crate or medal fence enclosure.

My 2 ferrets love this playpen and it’s made cleaning their cage SO much easier. I have some tubing and toys in it that they love to play in and with while in it. I love that the mesh is extremely tightly woven, they can’t get their nails caught in it or even attempt to tear it. The top unzipping fully makes it easy to wipe clean after use and the front door can be held open via the velcro tabs. They can come and go as they please when it’s playtime. This is also great for taking them outside and letting them play in the sun. It easily fits our chihuahua, who often goes in just to see what the ferrets are up to. Great product and price!

This product is not well made not well throughout. The bottom is just nylvery thin and it is not protected. So when your puppy pisses in it, soaks straight through. The other one I have has a rubber coated removable bottom. The zippers the product are very cheap not well made. When I compare this product with the other I have at the same price this here falls very short! Very disappointed, I would return it if I still had the box.

I just added a 5 month old kitten to my home of 2 existing cats. I can’t keep my senior out of my room at night, which is where the kitten stays during the day. A crate wasn’t working and I ordered this a Sunday with same day delivery and it came time. It’s been a life saver. My.kitten has a comfy new playpen to sleep in and can see my.other cats when they come in to sniff, and it’s easy access via the zippered top and front “door”. I ordered the small. Fits a small litterpan, food/water dish, and a pet bed. Folds up to store flat anywhere. It’s amazing.

This is not a workable playpen solutifor active puppies. I bought this for my 10 lb. puppy, and he was able to jump around, move it, turn it upside down and do all sorts of crazy things in the playpen. I would often come back and find the playpen upside down and across the room from where I had originally placed it. The playpen would also collapse itself with my puppy inside it from all of the jumping around he was doing, which I found hazardous. Lastly, I once made the mistake of putting his doggie bed and potty pads in the playpen, and came back to a gigantic mess. He had pooped the potty pad and then jumped around, so the poop got all over the sides, bottom and ceiling of the playpen. Really disgusting and unsanitary. I had to hose the entire thing down. We tried this product in various ways over the course of 2 days and could not find a way to make it work for us, so I cannot recommend this product.

Have been using for the past month–Wonderful playpen/sleeping cave for my 7 pound cat. I put it out (with her in it) my front porch so that we BOTH can sunbathe, fresh air bathe, and lets her look at all the people, cars, dogs close up without any danger while I’m there most of the time to watch her. I bought the small size and there’s SO MUCH SPACE for her to sit down and stand in and move around in. I could probably fit about 2 or 3 more cats and 4 kittens(assuming they all got along with each other 🙂 ) inside with her. It also lets me air out my rooms & clean her litter while she’s outside enjoying herself in her pen. Of course I have to make sure her claws are not too sharp or else she might be able to tear thru the nylfabric. I definitely agree with another reviewer that you can easily fold/carry this light weight item up and bring it with you to a hotel to serve as your pet’s playpen/bed. It’s great with a large zipper opening the ENTIRE top(so you can easily get ahold of your pet) and zipper openings the door side(the side you’re seeing that faces you in the pic) of the 8 sides.I also use it as her sleeping cave by putting some of my clothes the top & sides outside it to make it dark & somewhat warm inside her “cave” and leave the side door open (without any clothes blocking it) so she can go in/out of it. The 8 sides are flexible to bend that even my bed, I can bend 2 sides or more so that the pen takes up a smaller amount of space but still leave enough space for my cat to lay/sleep in. She now sleeps there every night!!! She complains now meowing loudly if I have it folded up somewhere instead of opened up and ready for her to enter & sleep in.

Like the concept of this product and it does what it is supposed to do however after the very first day of using it the zipper part came undone. It was not forced it was not handled roughly it’s just simply came right off. Therefore I cannot actually zip the top of this product as it is supposed to. Fortunately it doesn’t make much difference because my dog is a very small dog and will not happen over it. I would give this five stars if the zipper didn’t pop off the first day of use. But unfortunately I do not have the time or energy to contact the company and request a refund as it does serve it’s purpose for me. I would be very annoyed if I needed to talk to that though. I like that it folds very nicely and is easy to store out of sight. The one thing that is difficult for most of these products is that yes they work but then you have a large space of your home taken up by this product however this product does not do that and I love that it is easily stored between a shelf in the wall so it doesn’t take up space when not in use.

Great for travel! Perfect size for my mom’s 8lb poodle mix that gives him room to move around, yet keeps him safely contained. Easily folds down to a thin circle just slightly larger than a dinner plate. Very versatile with optito zip up top and bottom, or just have sides up. Just a couple suggestions/concerns to note: First, make sure your pet’s nails are clipped so they don’t snag/tear the material, and second, you may need to stake the pen to the ground depending your pets “activity level”. My mom got up and walked into another room, next thing we know the dog (who has major separatianxiety) managed to “roll” the playpen after her (kinda like a hamster’s activity wheel) LOL!!

We found a very small kitten who was ill. The vet recommended that for the short term, she be separated from our much older cats. We bought this in an effort to keep her separate but still with the family. This worked wonderfully! The top zips open or closed, which allowed us very easy access to put her and her blankets inside when she was recovering from being sick. Any accidents she had inside cleaned up very easily with a sponge and soap and water. The side has another door which is also zipper open and closed, this rolls up so the door stays open. A very nice plus, we could put her kitten food and water dish inside and leave the door open for her access when she was up and about and finally moving around the house. The playpen also folds up almost completely flat, which allowed us to move it around the house with ease. Now that little kitty is better, we still use it when we are bringing groceries in or cleaning so that she will be safely locked up. I don’t know that I would use it for my older and very much bigger cats, although, they did go in several times and seemed to have plenty of room. But as light as it is, I think they would knock over. However for smaller cats this is definite winner! Especially for the price!

This thing is Better than the other ones that look so similar, its TALLER, which is the only way for kitty to SIT UP, if she wants to, when there is a pillow inside. Plus, the Quality is strangely IMMACULATE in this day-in-age, when so many things are cheaply made. This will last a lifetime. The screens are tough, and the zippers are strong and smooth as butter. I so recommend this one!!!

Love this cat play pen. I have three now. One set up for each of my kitties and I cover it with a sheet and they hang out there all day. It is like camping for kitties. I have one that I keep folded up incase of emergencies. If you have to evacuate immediately, for example during an earthquake, it is a great safe way to keep your pets with you. It is big enough to fit a little litter box and a cat bed. A must have. Plus cats love to play in them.

I LOVE these portable pet pens! They have come in very handy numerous times (especially when I’ve been a vacatior road trip). AND it was a true lifesaver when my dachshund mix hurt his back and had to go 8 weeks of crate rest. My dog HATES to be crated!! However, the portable play pen was perfect for him because he could be contained, yet he could still see out of the pen, 360 degrees. He still felt he was a part of the family instead of being crated away. I HIGHLY recommend this product. Thank you!!

Got the small one and it seemed very well made except it came with the top Not attached and I could not get it together. Sent it back. Wish it had worked because it’s very nice quality for this price. OneOne note about small size is that an active small dog could easily jump out of it with the top off…and it can collapse easily too if they jump against one side with top off. I said, Mine came missing the top so I don’t know how it might have been otherwise.

Very easy to pack up and love the fact that the door unzips and it has a cover for the top to keep the sun or rain out. Wish I had brought this for my other dog. My little one sleeps in it at night so no worries of accidents. If it gets soiled I can always hose it down outside and let it dry. I brought the Medium size and it’s big being my puppy weighs 2lbs.This is the best thing I have brought and so happy I found it. Now I can sleep through the night knowing that she is safe and secure.

I bought this for my one cat who is always trying to come outside and be with us…We have 3 cats but only the one baby loves to go in it..we did put our middle cat in with the baby as well and they both seemed to love it but this is mainly used for the baby who likes to come outside with us. (we do not allow them to roam outside) they are strictly indoor cats which is why I bought. This is so easy to put up and take down. You can put up in literally 5 seconds and take down in same time. This is a definite purchase for those of you who have indoor cats and want to be with you outside. I do want to say that this is a very collapsible product….I specifically bought it for my cats ..that’s it….they just sit in there and look out..they are not jumpers and they do not freak out to be in there..so my review is pretty much for the cat people out there

As soas I opened the package I was thrilled that the build quality and materials seemed nice. It did have a very plastic smell at first but after airing it out the smell cleared in a few hours. While actually using it for a day with our very active 2 month old kitten the playpen continuously collapsed in itself like the photo shows. There’s nothing in the bottom or top holding any tensiand because the whole thing is supposed to collapse to be easily carried it naturally folds in. Our poor little guy kept getting knock over by the walls caving in him.Wish it were designed better because the quality is amazing for the $20 price! Will be returning it instead.

I bought this for my new puppy. I’ve had issues with durability in the past, but this playpen is the best one so far. The mesh is thick and he can’t paw his way through it or tear it. I did notice a few marks the inside of the pen when I first received, but that could be from shipping. There’s a tag in there that your dog can bite and pull, and it will pull in one of the sides. So I suggest you cut it off. So far we’ve had this for 2 days and he loves it. It hasn’t collapse him or anything. Would definitely recommend.

This is an awesome place for our shihtzu when away from home. We set it up at home leaving the gate unzipped so he could come in and out we put his pillow and blankets in it. He went in it and snuggled up his pillow. It was good to get him used to it before we went to visit family. It folds flat and small for ease while traveling. We have not had to use he detachable top as he is older and can’t get out. It smells like home now and is a perfect home away from home. It is perfect for us.

At first I loved this little playpen for my 4 pound Yorkie. I was able to use it once to take him to a soccer match and it was perfect. The next time I tried to use it the zipper the front was not only stuck to the point of breaking, but the were places where the material around the zipper was coming apart and leaving holes, so even if I had been able to fight the zipper closed it was still useless as a confined space. I’ve given two stars, only because my puppy decided it was the perfect place for his potty pads. so I just cut the door off completely and he uses it for his bathroom.

The playpen is good, but has some major flaws. First, the playpen never stays opened fully. One corner will always fold inward. Second, the zipper for the top cover portigot stuck and destroyed to the point where using the top cover is no longer an option. This is due to the plastic zipper that was used whereas a metal zipper would most likely not had the same problem.

I bought the Medium Parkland Pet Portable Foldable Playpen to have a controlled area for my 5lb Chihuahua that recently broke his leg. The break was a bad one that required surgery. While my little guy is really good, he still doesn’t really understand his limitations with a soft cast. This thing has taken so much stress out of the day having to watch him constantly making sure he wasn’t getting up furniture or trying to take a trip up the stairs. The product itself is decently made, easy to fold and move. So, not only is this awesome for having a play area, it’s an excellent controlled place for a pet in recovery.

I like this and I think it will work out really well for my dog. It sets up very easily and seems to be well made. The only thing that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND is that you let this product air out prior to putting your pet in it. It has very strong smell of vinyl which would make me sick if I were in it. Animals have a very strong sense of smell. I have left it out in the sun a couple days to air it out. The sun helps to naturally get rid of volatile organic compounds. I wouldn’t put my pet in it until it finishes airing out. After that, I think it’s going to be really great for travel when we take my dog to hotels or visit family. It is really cute.

I ordered the small size (17x29x29) for my various foster kittens. I get a lot of bottle babies and very young fosters and this tent is PERFECT, and I was very surprised by how much bigger it is than I expected – they have tons of room in here even with a litter box, dishes and bedding. Material is very tough/sturdy and feels like an actual tent, and the mesh portions are made with a thick, strong mesh and not just netting like I expected. It’s very easy to clean and transport, I love that the top is completely removable so it’s not in the way when I’m dealing with the super young ones. I’m thrilled with my purchase, lots of foster kittens will be safe and comfy in this in the future!

My 2 cats love it. They are still young and big babies, always hopping in my lap and onto my books, etc; I put them in it when I need to study. It seems the closeness of it relaxes them. I was afraid they might try to claw their way out but they don’t. If I have the top zipped, they like to lay top of it. I put a bed inside, they often go inside, their own, just to relax. It is roomy enough for the both of them. They are brothers and like to be close. I may order another as they get bigger, mostly to accommodate another bed because they are getting too big to sleep in the bed together.

My little dog just loves this bed, and it is the perfect size for him. He is a 6 lb Yorkie-poo; so the bed would work for a dog that was a lot larger than Chipper is; but he likes having the extra room, and I put his cushy little dog be in there for him to sleep in at night. He goes in and out of the little doggie door, but I can also take him out of the top if I want to. The playpen folds up to almost nothing when you want to take it somewhere, and I think that this would be the perfect pen to take along when traveling with your little pet. It is a lot easier to deal with than a travel crate, and folds up flat to carry it.

We bought the 36″ and it seems well made and sturdy. The zip top is a nice feature to help place our cats (1 small and 2 larger) inside. It’s airy and roomy. We bought this to help transport our cats in the back of the car during our upcoming move Right now, it’s sitting in our family room and the cats love it. They go in their own and sleep and play. They are acclimating to it very well. I don’t regret the purchase.

Extremely valuable when I go inside or outside anywhere. It just flips open and my puppy has her own area that she feels comfortable in and I feel she is in a safe environment. We take our little fur baby (6lbs)everywhere…friends houses, parks, even my work occasionally. And we won’t go camping without it either. Folds up super easy too and the netting is strong. It is well stiched also. The only complaint I have is she was able to scrape off the plastic coating the inside with her little paws…luckily I was able to get it all cleaned up before she tried to eat it. Just have to keep an eye her..Puppy’s will eat anything. That is my only reasfor giving it 4 stars instead of 5

I read so many reviews before buying one! THIS IS HEAVY DUTY MATERIAL!! I got this one and the material is extra heavy duty. I was surprised how strong it is. My cat cannot rip it or rip through it. I am quite impressed at the strength of the material. I would recommend this to anyone for any animal. It is not a high but I use it for my cat and do not need a high one. It is 16 inches high by 27 inches wide which is plenty big for my cat in the garden!

LOVE THIS PEN!!! I am extremely indecisive and after a long time of looking I finally went with this pen. I have a 9 pound Pomeranian who recently had knee surgery. This pen is perfect to keep her calm we throw a blanket down and have plenty of room for her food/water bowls and toys. She loves it and happily walks in through the little zipped side door. The top removable lid really helps to keep her from jumping. We have flown with this twice now and it fit right in our checked bag. We literally take it everywhere. It has a nice stretchy strap that keeps it all together. Durable study and well made. Can just hose it down if needed, great product!

We were traveling with a new pet and didn’t want her to be confined in a carrying tote while we traveled for several hundred miles. This great playpen allowed her to see wheat was going and walk around and nap when she pleased. We found a great round cushithat was a perfect size. It’s especially nice because it folds up to practically nothing so we can keep it handy and use it again when we take long trips and take her with us.Our pet was an adult cat. This was the answer we were looking for. It’s tall enough that it doesn’t encumber her in any way.

Great playpen. Roomy and folds up easily to small suitcase size. Well made. Attractive. Love the easy zip off top. Great place to drop the pup for a quick run to the bathroom or whatever…firm believer that young pups should be supervised or contained or they turn into bad behaving dogs….not much different than children in that sense. Now will someone just help me figure out how to keep the 4 year old grandkid out of this playpen and I would be very happy. We also feed our pup in it becauae she wont soil in it and otherwise its hard to catch then for a walk outside if they are not contained while eating. Cant wait to try it camping.

I was so excited when I ordered this playpen that I couldn’t wait to get it. And when I did, I was not disappointed. And my too little pups love it. I barely had time to set it up before they ran in and made themselves at home. It’s so well made and for the price it’s amazing. It pops right up with ease and packs away just as fast. I got the large for my toy yorkie and toy morkie for when we have to leave for a long period of time. Plenty of room for their bed, toys and food/water. Our puppy is training so there’s a pee pad in there too. Highly recommend this playpen. Don’t hesitate to buy!

I’m extremely pleased with this playpen/pet tent! I had read a few reviews where people complained about how difficult it was to zip up the top part and how the zipper would break.. I have to say that was not my case it was super easy to set up and zipped the top part to it, and just as easy to fold it back up and put it away.. I bought the medium size playpen for my dwarf rabbit and I was surprised how big it is, the quality it’s really good too. I’m 5’6 about 125lbs and I was able to sit in there with my legs crossed and I still had plenty of room.

Works just as I thought it would. Folds up really nice for transport, and has a easy strap to keep it in place once it is folded, which is a must. Medium size was perfect for my little 8 lb puppy as it fits right next to my desk at my dog-friendly workplace. Honestly a large probably would have been better for the pup but I just don’t have the cubicle space!Wish it came in different color options, but honestly it looks fine in the brown. One thing is that if the pup doesn’t want to be in the playpen and is scratching the sides I can foresee him clawing a hole through the mesh eventually, but so far that hasn’t happened. And it’s tent material so you already know that this is a risk. Hoping it will last through puppy hood though! He did also knock the playpen over by clawing the sides of it and trying to play, but that can be prevented by tying it down if it becomes an issue.

Bought this for a friend, who is a small dog owner. His dog just had 3 puppies, and he needed somewhere to keep the mom and puppies contained at night. This was the perfect option! It’s small enough to fit in the corner of a room, but big enough to where puppies and mom have room to walk around. Part of the playpen is used for a “bed” area, one part for potty pads, and one part for food and water. The best part is that it folds down flat, for quick storage during the day. The sides are tall, so it’s not easy for a small dog to escape, and the bottom wipes clean easily.

It has been a week since we are using this playpen and we really like it, we use it during the night to have our little puppy contained in one spot, it has enough for bed and to place a training pad. Little puppy even has enough space to move around and play. It won’t work for potty training because is too big for that purpose. I like that is very light and I can carry it everywhere, but at the same time our little puppy can pull it everywhere with no effort. In my opiniis just for well behave dogs because as sothey’ll try to escape they will succeed right away, my little 3 month old puppy is starting to chew the zipper and if she keeps doing it will be nfunctional in about hours. Still I like how it works for us this playpen, I am really happy with the size and I hope it last for a long time.

I had the choice of several brands of play pens, and I am glad to have selected this one. It is very durable- I know because my puppy likes to chew it and he has yet to destroy it! I like the fact that the floor does not zip out. That way he cannot escape out of it should he figure out the zipper. I just keep puppy pad in the pen in case of an accident. I also think the zip off top is very nice because it shades part of the interior. All the zippers are high quality and will last. Overall a great purchase!

Just starting out a cross country journey and taking my 11 year old cat with me (he loves to travel). Last time we went, I got a large soft sided carrier that was far too small for him to really move around in while we were outside lounging and did not collapse down when not in use. I ordered this play pen hoping it would not only provide some room for him, but would easily open and close. It meets all my expectations. I had it popped up within seconds out of the package and it folded up just as easy and secures with a nice thick strap for storing. It will be great to have board my travel travel since it is flat so easy to store when not in use. The only thing it lacks is a suggestihow to convince the cat that it is for his own safety when he would rather be exploring the campground.

I’ve bought the 48x48x24 one for my porch. I’ve only had for a week, but I like it better than the Feline Funhouse I had before. The previous one could be torn & rolled if the cat got overly excited and was hard to fold up. This one, while a rounder shape is slightly smaller, an is much less expensive. It has a partially shaded “ceiling” and walls, less netting-more fabric, so my cat feels more secure as she spies the birds. The floor fabric seems satisfactory. Its much easier to fold up. Its early to say, but the quality seems very good. So far the cat has not rolled it and may be not be able to damage as it the previous one and escape. I can either climb thru the door flap or unzip the ceiling flap to get a resistant cat out. All good so far.

This portable pet pen is terrific. Even though it’s set up in the house, he still goes in it, sometimes taking a toy with him. I take kitty outside in it and set it a round patio table and he enjoys being able to see the outdoors (hear all the birds and everything), even as an otherwise strictly indoor cat.

Great product, especially for the price. The large size playpen is very roomy for my 14 lb miniature schnauzer. It is extremely easy to put up and down. The bottom is a tent like material so it is very easy to clean if your pet makes a mess. Just remember to zip the top if you want your dog secure because it is very easy to get out of otherwise. Overall I definitely recommend this product.***Update: My dog learned how to flip the playpen upside down. Which when I have a bowl of water in there can be a problem. So depending how ingenuitive your dog is you may want to take this into consideration.

This thing is great! You seriously can not beat the price. Similar ones are sold in pet stores for over $100. And it’s super easy to use – you just open it up and POP it’s ready to use! I bought the large one to house both of my dogs at night (both under 20lbs) and it’s seriously the best thing ever. Fits them and their beds perfectly. My dogs love it. I love it. Recommend 100%!

This was perfect for a kitten I was hand raising. About the time my kitten was 4 weeks and able to walk around quite a bit I moved him into this. It was great because he was able to walk around and climb without me wondering where he was going. I was able to put him, his food and water, and small litter box inside. It was very easy to wipe clean and packs away small and flat.

The bottom of the pen is made of VERY thin plastic-y material, not the same material as the sides of the pen (like a disposable plastic tablecloth, yet somehow way less waterproof). It’s so thin it’s not even remotely water-resistant, so any water bowl spills or puppy accidents go straight through to the floor under the pen. This makes it totally useless for me as the whole point is wanting something to keep my dog contained while protecting the floor from puppy accidents, etc. I got this to replace a similar playpen that my puppy had chewed through. I thought the bottom being permanently attached rather than zippered may help since it doesn’t have a seam for him to chew on. At this point I would have been better off just removing the bottom piece from his old pen and letting him play in it without a bottom layer. Cost-cutting with this cheap material has deemed this pen completely pointless. It would be easier to cleanup if there simply wasn’t a bottom layer at all. There’s also a seam running through the middle of the bottom, so even if the material were somewhat water resistant, the seam would cause issues anyway. It’s really a shockingly poor design.

Perfect as a sort of kennel to keep dogs apart and safe from each other. Very sturdy but lightweight and easy to fold and carry. Also easy to clean, either wiping or hosing. I foster dogs for a rescue group and it helps with the introductions until everybody feels comfortable with the new guest. My latest foster pup was crate trained and thinks this is his haven, complete with favorite blanket and toys. Wish I’d thought of it sooner and happy to recommend.

I love this product!!! I have a 10 year old shih tzu mix and he has accidents in the house when we leave him alone. I used to have a metal crate for him, but he would get excited when we came home and start scratching at the bars. I was afraid he would hurt himself. Now I don’t have that problem. I ordered the medium size playpen and it houses my 15 lb mutt perfectly. It folds up nicely and is pretty durable, even for a house with 2 cats that like to claw at stuff. My dog has plenty of room for his dog bed and a water dish. The material is like a tough canvas and the zippers all work great. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs to crate their pet but doesn’t want them to feel like they are in a cage.

This playpen is AWESOME! I have an 8th month Shih Tzu that is roughly 5 pounds. She literally is part goat because she climbed over a baby gate. Too young to let loose in the house I turned to this. I got the large size, and it’s perfect! I have a pee pad in there, just in case, there is room for her bed, toys, a little room to walk around/play and I have a water dish in there. It zips up the top, so no escaping there, and the door is also zippered. It folds into itself, so if I need to take it down, it’s a breeze. It will also come in very handy this summer with camping. I won’t have to worry about bugs biting her, her escaping, or other dogs being able to bite/attacking her.AND….I loved the communicatiwith this company. I’m REALLY impressed all the way around.**My top did have a very small sectithat was not sewn by the zipper, so a very small hole is there. I wish it wasn’t, it doesn’t change my opinion, just maybe will have to take a needle/thread to it myself.

This playpen is perfect for me as I am trying to hand raise four (out of a litter of nine) puppies whose mother passed away after being rescued by Two Tailz Rescue here in Georgia. I was trying to make due with boxes, a portable kennel, drop cloths and pads but my carpet definitely suffered at my attempt. Since buying this playpen it has been so much easier to keep them contained and out of trouble!! I love it so much I ordered a second playpen so I can have one upstairs for nighttime and have a backup for when I wash out the interior. Puppies are cute but they are SO MESSY! They manage to find the cracks in between the pee pads! The only possible problem is the seem down the center of the floor. It seems very fragile, I might run a line of duct tape across the bottom seem when the new one arrives.I do wish it had a removable floor cover. I would buy two if they sold them so I could pull it out and wash it with the hose.

Terrific product well made extremely easy to open and set up. We purchased this in an effort to create an oxygen chamber for a cat who has cancer. We covered the Mesh enclosures with see-through heavy gauge plastic and attached it using Velcro. Fortunately or unfortunately our cat still has enough spunk in him and managed to destroy it not once but two times after we tried repairing in various ways. This is in no reflectito the quality of this product. We tried to use it for something it wasn’t designed for and any other cat would have been fine in it. There is a great need out there for oxygen enclosures for cats. There fir many for dogs but none that we can find good for a cat except for a steel crate which we now have him in and it too has been sealed off with plastic and vented to allow the oxygen in and appropriate air ventilation. I wish you and your wife much success. Thank you

I bought this to use as a ‘den’ for my two french bulldogs to sleep in at night. They’ve always slept our bed but have started waking us up too much getting in and out of the covers. It’s impossible to find a covered dog bed big enough for two dogs, let alone one of which is 45lbs (pictured). This was the perfect solution, I put an egg cartfoam topper and some blankets the bottom, and covered part of the top and sides with a blanket to make it darker and more cave-like. I got the medium size, 36×36 and it is plenty of room for my two dogs (45lbs and 24lbs). The playpen is sturdy enough that my big guy can roll around it it like a nut and not fold it in or knock it over. If I closed them in it they would eventually tear their way out I’m sure, but that’s not what I use it for. It’s nice to have the opening at the top to set up the blankets, and not have to crawl in and do it through the door. I also like that there is a floor to the tent, which keeps the blankets inside. Very happy with this find! One of my dogs is still pouting the side of the bed but I’m confident he’ll join his bro inside their den soenough.

Great play pen for most dogs, I think. As well constructed as many more expensive models. It set up easily, just by unfolding it and helping it to ‘pop’ in to place. The cover is a nice optito have if needed. Even though I knew the dimensions when I bought it, I was still surprised how big it actually was when set-up. I bought it for my new chihuahua puppy for those times when i have to leave the house. He’s not liking it too much, I think mainly because it’s SO big that he doesn’t feel very safe Just my theory. I think a smaller model would have been way more appropriate considering the size puppy i was getting. I think if you have a larger breed puppy, this pen is absolutely perfect for that larger puppy. In no way am I slamming the product. Just like humans, no 2 dogs are the same. Another chi or similar sized puppy may well be happy frolicking around inside the pen. Heck, given the size, you can have an entire litter of pups inside the pen and still not risk overcrowding. A purchase worth it’s reasonable price.

We recently added too little fur babies to our home. The kittens absolutely adore it and so I happily give it 5 Stars! I love how the top and door unzips so there is a lot of versatility to this carrier/bed. You can unzip the top so you can put them in and pet them from above. And I love that the little ‘door’ can be rolled up and velcro held so they can freely walk in and out. It’s extremely light and portable so you can take it with you and your little ones will feel right at home. Just add their favorite blankets and they will happily stay in it. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

I purchased this to use for adoptievents for a rescue I work with. We plan to use it for litters of kittens that are old enough to be adopted. This weekend was the first time using it. We got a lot of compliments from store customers and we are happy so far with the fabric and constructiof it. I do wish it was a couple inches taller, but otherwise it is a good size to hold 4-5 kittens and have enough room for a litter box when necessary for a few hours. I do not think this would be the best for using everyday, several hours a day to contain a pet though. Overall, I am happy with it for what I intend to use it for. I hope it will hold up well.

I am so pleased with this dog pen. I have a sassy little 13 pound chihuahua who occasionally has to stay with a friend while I’m traveling. He is a perfect gentleman until it comes to nighttime, when he likes to leave little “presents”, no matter how often they take him out before bed. The pershe stays with didn’t have room for a cage, so I looked for a solutiand found this. I was a bit concerned that it would be too small, but I am so pleased to say it’s far roomier than I thought it would be and it’s perfect for him. The bonus is that it folds up easily and they just store it in a closet until the next time they need it. The pen is very well constructed and sturdy. The shipping was even faster than they said it would be. I would not hesitate to buy from this company again.

This playpen is exactly what I was looking for, at a great price. My dog, who usually hates his crate, loved this playpen. With the lid off he can still feel like he is a part of everything, while also being contained to the small area. I used this while camping and during a trip to the beach, and I never had to worry about him getting away. It was easy to just zip the lid if I needed to. I wouldn’t use this in an instance where I was not there to watch him, as I feel like he could scratch a hole through the fabric and get out. But when I am there, he loves it, and it serves its purpose wonderfully. I love that it is so portable, it is very easy to fold it up flat and to expand it again. When it folds, there is an elastic band that goes around it to keep it in place. Reading some of the other reviews, I was worried it would not be big enough for my dog, but I ordered it anyways. I have a 14 lb. dachshund, and he has plenty of room to lay down, stand up, and play. I can’t say enough good things about this playpen, I am absolutely beyond satisfied, it is great and I would recommend to anyone.

At first I loved this for my 2 pound Yorkie. He loved it, and there is plenty of room for his food and water dish. That is the only good about this product. It was perfect at first, But… now it doesn’t stay fully expanded. It will collapse 2 sides 95% of the time. That leaves my puppy squished into a very tiny space The top panel that has the zipper is a pain. It was stuck and would not zip at all. All of the issues started within a week. It was definitely not worth any money at all. If I could do it all over again, I would buy a different one.

I bought this for our little hedgehog. I had actually gotten it hoping to be a cage for 2, but was a little bit disappointing that it wasn’t quite large enough for 2.. its really pushing it for one. It looks from all of the pictures like it has a lot of interior space, but really it’s only about 2.5′ feet of space inside. I still like it, we put a waterproof shower curtain under it to make it leak proof and it works well for a hedgehog cage, she can see out, its very breathable, we can easily reach in, its easy to clean, we can move it outside easily, and it begrudgingly holds all of her hides and wheel. Quality wise, it is much sturdier than a lot of other playpens I have looked into.BONUS: before we put the hedgehog in it, we filled it with plastic balls and put our 2 year old in it and he freaking loved it, so if you are looking for an inexpensive ball pit, this may work well!

I purchased this for a family member for their new Pomeranian puppy. I am helping with “Doggy Day Care” while she is at work so I wanted something easy to send home with her every evening when she picked up her puppy. This has been awesome! It is very small to discourage accidents while potty training. Even her cats have been climbing in to enjoy the new Playpen! Definitely a great price and just what I needed. Very pleased with my purchase.

Finding out one of my dogs was a diabetic I needed to find a way to keep her safe at night but still give her room and security to have water through the night. I love that it’s enclosed, her being a miniature pincer they love to be secure (under a blanket or something of sorts). My miniature schnauzer love to get in there with her as well! This pet play pen can be used outside as well. So if you have new puppies that you don’t want the direct grass but want to let them get fresh air. The top also unzips and can be removed so you can see your pup or pups. The brown is a nice neutral color. This material is breathable and easy to clean so if you do us it for pups and they pee or poo in it you can just wash it off and good as new! The constructiis solid it’s not flimsy so it won’t fall over your pet but it also folds up for easy storage or the go. I am sure your pups will love it as much as mine do! I would recommend this product I received at a discount for my honest review.
